As for towels, bath mats are measured in GSM; GSM stands for grams per square metre and refers to the amount of cotton that has been used in the product, the more cotton that is used, the higher the GSM. The higher the GSM, the ticker and heavier it is. While a standard towelling bath mat measures between 600-1200 gsm, the tufted bath mats range from 1700 to 2150 gsm. Many of our tufted range come in both a standard 50x76 cm rectangle mat and a contoured mat to fit around the base of the toilet. We also feature rubber backed mats for slippery surfaces.
