This season’s big colours start with delicious deep purples, Chinese reds, soft oranges and fresh bright
greens, mix two or three of them together for impact or use each one separately as a dramatic accent colour for a more sophisticated room scheme.
White remains as popular as ever but as white based interiors become ever more diverse; the days when you could just ask for ‘white’ are gone. Now there are shades such as dove white, foam white and pebble white; they are whites with a ‘hint’ that bring a whole new dimension to the ‘white’ look. Whoever thought white could create so much drama?

Popular trends this spring and summer include plenty of metallic details, wonderful shimmering and layered fabrics, bold geometric, flock and floral inspired prints, on everything from wallpaper to bedlinen, and the return of the classic nautical look; dominated by navy, red and white, in stripes, bands and plains.
Cool teal and ice blue mixed with earth tones, soft chalk and a hint of, copper, gold or silver, create a clean contemporary look that’s perfect for summer. Then, there are the soft muted tones of nature; bark, earth, sand, stone etc. This look isn’t new; it’s just continuing to evolve – safe, strong and dependable shades that create fantastic backdrops for splashes of more personal colour and style tastes.

For a hint of the popular yesteryear romance look, mix fresh linens and flesh tone pinks, peaches and mocha with a little hot modern shimmer and antiqued accessories.
