Step 1: Declutter<\/h2>\n

First things first \u2013 Declutter. This might sound like an odd one, however, hear us out. With all the magical Christmas<\/a> decorating you\u2019re about to fill your space with and all the toys and presents that\u2019ll be opened on Christmas Day; it\u2019s a great idea to declutter your space well ahead of time. We don\u2019t want to panic on Christmas Eve that the house is cluttered, and guests are arriving tomorrow!<\/p>\n

Step 2: Don\u2019t forget the garden<\/h2>\n

In Australia we\u2019re so lucky to celebrate this magical season in sunny weather so be sure you don\u2019t forget about the back garden; we\u2019ll need somewhere to play backyard cricket after all! Take a moment to make sure weeds are cleared, the outdoor furniture<\/a> has been wiped down and any outdoor table linen<\/a> and dinnerware<\/a> is ready to go. While you’re focused on the garden, it’s a great time to consider adding some new additions from outdoor cushions<\/a> to stylish outdoor rugs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Stock up with batteries<\/h2>\n

When it comes to\u00a0Christmas morning this is one of the most important preparations! When the little ones open their presents and want to play with them right away, you\u2019ll be thankful you stocked up.<\/p>\n

Step 4: Add a festive touch<\/h2>\n

Now comes the fun part! Our homes are our place of sanctuary and are the canvas upon which we can reflect our personality.
