At Pillow Talk, we believe that everyone deserves comfort — especially during life’s most challenging moments.
That’s why we’re proud to partner with Thread Together.
Thread Together is a leading Australian charity dedicated to restoring dignity and hope to people experiencing hardship by providing access to brand-new, unsold clothing and essentials, offering choice to individuals and families affected by domestic and family violence, homelessness, natural disasters, and other crises.
Since becoming Thread Together’s first homewares partner, Pillow Talk has contributed over $150,000 in funds along with brand-new bedding and essential home items, for people staying in shelters or short-term accommodation.
Supporting Our May Charity Campaign
During Domestic and Family Violence Prevention & Awareness Month, Pillow Talk customers are invited to support Thread Together through a voluntary $1 donation at checkout both in-store and online.
All funds raised will go towards restoring dignity to those who have been displaced by domestic and family violence and hardship.
The impact your $1 can make:
• $5 Helps build an essential wardrobe for one person in need
• $25 Delivering clothing into the community where its needed most
• $50 Provides a wardrobe for a family experiencing hardship
• $100 Provides a complete wardrobe for someone escaping domestic violence
Past and ongoing commitments
2025:
In March 2025 for International Women's Day, we hosted our first shopping night experience at Jindalee, where we invited Thread Together and 10 women who were starting to rebuild their lives after fleeing domestic violence.
August 2025 Pillow Talk held our first volunteer packing day at our Head Office, located in Brisbane Queensland. Staff across operations, warehouse and support office packed essential items including sheets, bed covers, pillows and towels into Comfort Capsules to be distributed to temporary housing shelters across Australia.
2026:
Pillow Talk has once again committed to a shopping experience for 10 women, held at our Prospect store in Sydney. Followed by a dollar donation campaign for the month of May.
August 2026 will see us pack another 400 comfort capsules with essential bedding products to be donated and distributed to Thread Together.
Our last initiative for the year, in support of our partnership is our Hang a Heart campaign. As part of our Christmas range we have introduced an ornament as part of a series where 100% of proceeds from the decoration will be donated to Thread Together.

Donation Information
Donations are voluntary and non-refundable. Donations of $2 or more may be tax deductible. Pillow Talk collects donations on behalf of Thread Together and does not issue tax receipts. To obtain a tax receipt, lodge your donation via the Thread Together website. All customer donations are passed on to Thread Together.
